About five minutes drive down the coast from Bamburgh is the fishing port and coastal town of Seahouses. For activities in and around Seahouses check out the local community website. 

We love going there for fish and chips and we must confess our personal favorite restaurant is Lewis's. The fish is so fresh it tastes sweet!

During summer you can also catch the boats to the Farne Islands from the port and explore the islands and the local bird life.

The Co-operative in Seahouses is the closest supermarket.

To go horse riding along the beach at Seahouses, call the Slate Hall Riding Centre. The beach ride for experienced riders is fantastic and blows away the cobwebs!
